Mac OSX Slide Show Wallpapers

We've all taken a few pictures on holiday that remind us of the happy days. I'll be you showing how create a slide show of these pictures for your desktop. I've demonstrated two ways of doing this and its purely a personal preference of which way works best for you.

I find that the iPhoto method works best for people that use a Mac and iPhoto as there primary photo storage place. The Non iPhoto method would work better for people who copy the files from another computer and may not even use iPhoto.

iPhoto Method
1. Open iPhoto and create a new album.

2. Select suitable image and drag it into the newly created album.

3. Open Desktop & Screen Saver in System Preferences.

4. Select your newly created album in the iPhoto Albums section and select your display options. Play around with the options and see what you prefer.

5. Sit back and enjoy.

Non iPhoto Method
1. Select the images that you want to include in your wallpaper slide show and copy them into a new folder.

2. Open the Desktop & Screen Saver in System Preferences.
3. Click on the plus [+] button below the folder list to add the folder with your pictures in it.

4. Finally select the settings that you want, for example changing the picture when logging in, waking from sleep or after a set amount of time. A new wallpaper on login is my favourite and every 30 mins as a runner up.

5. Enjoy your pictures.
